William Stockman, our subject, grew to manhood in East Twp, Carroll
Cnty, on the farm where he now resides, and received a common-school
education. In 1850 he married Miss Lydia A. McGhee, who was born in
1828, a daughter of John McGhee. To this union have been born Lemuel
W., who resides in Augusta, Ohio; Albert, at home' Homer, in Minerva,
Ohio; Emma Toalston, in East Twp, and Elva, at home.
