To all on the list who may have written or came in person to our library Carroll County Genealogical Society lost one of our volunteers today.
Maguerite Mitten Finnicum lost her battle with cancer this morning. Maguerite was one of the driving forces behind getting the room at the courthouse and having the county turn over the old courthouse records to us. She spent endless hours sorting and arranging old records so that they could be used by the public.
She will be missed near and far.
