Help! I have been trying to locate my family on the 1850 Carroll County
Census for some time and keep coming up short! I can find them in the 1860
census in Carrollton and I have documentation that states they lived in
Carrollton in 1850. In past I have checked these records on film.

Over the weekend I went through both the 1850 and 1860 Carroll County census
on Ancestry. I discovered that on the 1860 there is a listing for
Carrollton (my family is included) as well as the other townships. But in
the 1850 census I do not find Carrollton listed and my family is no where to
be found.

Can someone tell me if Carrollton is listed under another township in 1850,
or is it just not there?

Of course the 1850 census is the one I desperately need to prove who the
mother's of my ancestors are!!
