It is with the saddest heart that I tell you Carroll County lost one of it dearest residents today. George Rankin passed away today.
George was a walking history book. He knew everyone or someone from your family. He had a great memory and also a great sense of humor.
George and his wife Helen where very active members of the Carroll Co. Gene. Soc. always ready to help anyone with there research.
He well be so missed by everyone.
