I'm looking for anything on Joshua Spain, who was born about 1828 and
married Hannah Orahood in Logan Co. in 1850. Soon after that they moved to
Mahaska Co. IA. and had a son named Sylvester. This is the only child that
shows up in the 1880 census but there could have been more.
I think his family was probably in Champaign Co.
