I have slowly been cleaning house and came across an old obit I wanted to
share. While looking for the John Shaffer who married my Evilsizor, I ended up
with an abundance of John Shafer obits. I am going to dispose of this one, so
I wanted to share

Pickrelltown Resident Dies
John Schafer , 68, died at his home in Pickrelltown, Friday at 9:30 am
following a six months illness. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Mrs mary
Scheely of West Liberty; two brothers, Charles of Urbana and George south of
Urbana; two sisters Mrs Peter Ammon and Mrs Louise Gries of Dayton. Fun serv
will be held Sunday at 2 pm from the Pickrelltown Church with interment in
Zanesfield.
