I knew BOB BROWN a bit, and Bob Orr sent me a copy of Bob's book on
Vincent Brown. Most likey you are correct about the marrage being in the
missing VOL 2 Clermont Co Marriage ledger. You don't mention searching
in n KY,but since Bob AND PAT DONALDSON were friends,it's probably un
nessary to hunt Mason Co, and I was going to suggest the marrying J.P.
Thomas Shelton, bbut Pat was th publisher of his records. I can think of
one other posibility. 100+ S BROWN CO families joined the SHAKERS
1806-1811 .At the ery least,Andrew Brown,OF wHITE OAK Creek WAS ONE. Some
returned to Brown Co. If they had eloped from a Shaker illage, and
married nearby the village, then WARREN CO,OH, Mercer Co,Ky, and
Vincinnes-Buseron,Indiana Territory. I have no doubt the Vincent Brown'S
WERE from FT JACKSON=WAYNESBURG PA; > abt 1790> Lee's Creek
Station,Dover Mason Co,Ky > s White Oak Creek by,say,1800 with the
WILEY'S, SELLERS, FEE'S,LAKIN'S, etc etc. And,IFI was really pushed,I
would say Charles CoMd SAY 1750. But it really confuses me haing 2 sets
of VVincent SR-JR on either edge of mid old Clermont CoOh
