I also learned the hard way, Hermon, but fortunately had printed out many
copies of the original program to hand out to relatives. I accidently hit
my coffee cup on an adjoining table, it landed on the keyboard of my laptop,
and absolutely fried it. Entering all that data again was a huge task, but
the pain was lessened by the realization that I COULD restore it. I lost a
lot of other things, too, but nothing I valued so much as the genealogy.
