I find that if I go back four generations from my Dad - half are from New
Jersey, a few from Pennsylvania, a couple from Canada or unknown. These
are people mostly born in the late 1700's. My ggrandfather went to
Nebraska about 1879 but my ggrandmother didn't like it there and they
returned. I think most of my ancestors and their families stayed in the
Clermont/Brown Co. area - maybe one or two children in a family went west
to Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma and I have one who went to Texas . . . and
then there are a few families where most of the children left for the
west.
