MILFORD
There was no services held at the M. E. Church Sunday night
for the reason that having no fuel they could have no fire.
The congregation in the morning suffered severely from the
cold.
Mr. and Mrs. F. H. ALLEN have returned from their centennial
trip. Mrs. L. B. HARDING, Mrs. JACOB TRABER and Miss MADGE
BIGGS are all at the big show and visiting other metropolitan
cities of the U. S.
The farmers are all busy getting their crop of corn and
getting ready for winter that is upon us.
Mr. H. T. SHOEMAKER and family have removed to Tusculum
Station.
Mr. ISAAC LEAF has just completed a new residence facing
the narrow-gauge in South Milford. With their increased
facilities for reaching the city, we would not be surprised
to see many more of the same kind going up. We hope to see
their station changed from a flag to a regular station,
as it has a central location and is patronized by all the
citizens of Milford as well as the surrounding neighborhood.
