Hello group,

I too find the party line nature of this group a good thing. In my case
I have done research off and on for the last 20 years, until the last year
or so by direct source only at county court houses and libraries. To me it
is very important to verify, verify verify for my direct lines for I am
trying to uncover the real story. When others make a query that rings a
bell I am happy to provide what help I can. Pointing someone in a direction
I believe is most useful and myself have been a recipient of this help from
the group. I do not expect to receive, but am glad to get citations. All
information I get, unless from a direct source will be cross verified by me.
Too many times the sources are not themselves completely accurate. How many
times have you seen different birth years for the same person in different
censuses or a death record that gives the date the record was posted as the
date of death? I have seen that one in Clermont Co. Let us continue to
share and help one another but verify, verify, verify ourselves.
