Subject: Jeremiah DANSBERRY and Charity LEWIS m. 1824

Have been researching my Dansberry line in La Crosse, Wisconsin,
and have found cemetery records on George M. Dansberry with
the following information: b. 2/17/1833 in Williamsburg, Clermont
Co., Ohio, d. 4/29/1908 La Crosse, Wisconsin, buried Oak Grove
Cemetery. He was married to Mary Case, daughter of Nelson Case
and Sarah ???. It also shows that his father was Jerry.
From research I have done on census records, this Jerry is probably
Jeremiah Dansberry married to Charity Lewis. Jeremiah was born about
1804 in Pennsylvania and died in Ohio Twp, District # 022, Clermont Co.
He and Charity were married, probably in Clermont Co., on 1/22/1824.
Four children were born to them:
George M. who married Mary Case
Jeremiah who married Mary Catherine Weeks
Francis who married Elizabeth Case and (cousin of Mary and Tabitha)
William who married Tabitha Case (sister of Mary)
George M. and Mary Case are my 2 great grandparents, and I am trying to
find out more about Jeremiah and Charity and if this family connects in
any
way with the New Jersey family that migrated to Clermont Co., Ohio.
Being Jeremiah was born in Pennsylvania it looks like a good probability
that
his family was from New Jersey and was in transit to Ohio when Jeremiah
was
born.
If anyone knows how I can get a copy of the marriage records for
Jeremiah
and Charity, I would appreciate hearing back, and if anyone knows
anything
about this couple, and their family, I would like to hear from you too.
Thanks for anything anyone can offer on this family, Holly Snead
