You can possibly find current OBITUARIES on this newspaper site (if it's a
big enough town). Many newspapers also have Archives for several years
back.

Interestingly, I was able to pull up an Obit on a family member through this
Internet connection...just hours after the newspaper hit the street 100
miles from me. The old timers in the family couldn't understand how I
managed to find out about all the funeral arrangements on a computer. <smug
smile>
