Calvery cemetary has been cared for by the Washington township trustees
,or,at least,by 1 trustee,Ralph Houser,and sons, back in the 1958 era. It
was,the 1st
10+ years,the Alexander Buchanan family cemetary-at least the old part
south of RT 756.
We have strip mining in reverse in that neighborhood now. The ashes left
from making electric power at the Zimmer Power plant are buried on
adjoining farms. Same thing downriver below New Richmond,where the river
hilltop is used for another power plant's ashes. Which reminds me of
another family cemetary nw of the later plant,on the hill top.
