Hi Carol

In the 1800 - 1850 Clermont Co Marriage book there is no TRINKELY, TRANKLE
or LEIBICH listed.

Carol:

Vol 10, p. 314, Gottlieb Steinle, 37 to Caroline Trengle (widow), 35, 25 Nov
1869 by Isaac Mitchell, JP

The first marriage is not listed in the 1850 to 1874 Clermont County
marriage book.

> Hello list,

> I had the opportunity to order one of the Clermont County marriage books a
while back, but didn't think I'd need it. Wrong! So now I'm asking for a
couple of lookups. There was a person who offered to do some lookups for me
if I needed them. He lived around Apopka or Orlando, Florida. I've lost
his e-mail address.

> Anyway, Caroline TRANKLE, later spelled as pronounced- TRINKLEY -was one
of my gr-gr-grandmother's sisters who arrived in the U.S. from Germany in
1854. She was 17 years of age.
>
> -Her first husband was Stephen LEIBICH. I believe but am not certain that
they were married in Clermont County around 1856 or 57. There were three
children, the first born in 1858, the last born in March 1864. I have not
been able to find her with her husband Stephen on a census yet. Stephen
probably died, date unknown, and Caroline remarried.
>
> -Her second husband was Gottlieb STEINLE. Again, I believe they were
married in Clermont County, and it appears Gottlieb died prior to the census
of 1900. This is the first time I find this family listed, and Caroline is
shown as Carrie STEINLEY, Mother, Widowed, living in the household of her
son Charles LEIBICH and his family, and his two STEINLEY step-brothers.

greatly appreciate it if anybody could tell me the dates of either or both
of these marriages.
