Some Hoover was an underground RRer in the neighborhood of
Brownstown,[sic]15 miles
from Dr Samuel Tibbetts' Lindale Ohio
James Bunting was an underground RRer.
The Hollisters and Goodwins were from New Hampshire.
John M.Goodwin,Bethel grist miller, was married to a daughter of Stephen
Goble, who
lived on Goble Hill,on Ohio Rt 132 south of Lindale,and north of New
Richmond,Oh
Stephen Goble's wives were Elizabeth and Alice,daughters of Jousha Brown

Alice,of Hezekiah Lindsey.

Hoover Rd,in very s Tate township,runs north off Jones-Florea Rd,which
runs the short distance between Rt's 133 and 774, maybe 2-3 miles west of

Brownsville [Brownstown].

I suggest the above is the correct branch of the Franklin township Hoover
family,
one of which was on the Underground RR. Zero proof.

John M Goodwin had 2 mill sites. One was on Poplar Creek, very near the
farm house
of Rev Isaac Holmes Brown,and a mile east of the earlier
farm-church-cemetary of Rev Brown.
His 2nd mill,now powered by steam,wasis,in western Bethel,on Rt 125, 3\4
mile east of Rev Isaac
Holmes Brown,and 3 blocks west of the latter's church in Bethel. Rev
I.H.Holmes dau Fanny
m Dad's uncle,making her sister-in-law of Capt Will Fagley,Underground RR
conductor,whose
father-in-law was Robert Fee,noted Underground RRer of the Ohio's bank w
Moscow,Ohio.
