I found my "Brown Co Soils Survey" which book includes aerial photographs
of
all of Brown Co. It showed a fine tableland atop Shinkle's Ridge west
of the church split by Hizer Rd. I can't see why they whould carry Peter
Embry's Baum wife over the
hill and down to East Fork,Bullskin to bury her.1804,I think. She was
the 1st. I'D SAY SHE WAS BURIED atop the hill,at the edge of the
tableland,and,1810, her mother brought 2-3 miles to bury beside her. 'Or"
maybe Shinkle's Ridge ,now, churchyard,is that old. I'd guess a piece of
limestone creekstone was used for their tombstones,
sometimes with initals scratched upon it.
