That was a nice intro to Mrs. Whitt; thanks. I'm sorry I missed her.

Mr. Tippet, the same day, contacted me off site to let me know about the
First Families listed on the gen. society site. These included no Langleys
after all, so I probably have my OH counties mixed up.

Do you know of any inventory of that Short-Wheeler cem.? Thanks again.

Dear "Dol Sol", new subscribers, etc.,:
Sorry about the message, and what was left out.
The "little gal" was Clermont County Ohio Historian Mrs Aileen M.
Whitt. What she has done for the area, historically, and genealogically,
cannot be matched (per my thinking). Her authorship, and articles, etc.,
would fill several shelves. Yet, she also remained a NICE person, and always
a help to such dummys as me, as long as we proved we were serious about our
research, and not lazy.
John Tippet is a horse of a different color, and though I cannot say
anything good about him, he is the official/unofficial/best/most complete
depository/holder/researcher of our
Betchelhimer/Beckelhymer/Becklehimer/Pickelhimer/Behymer/ Bhymer/B.Himer/ETC
family, as well as some others. These "Bhymers" were large families of a
large family, and moved from Amwell NJ into Md, then into Virginia, and then
into Clermont County Ohio in 1803/4 era; continuing to explode, and then
sending parts to Indiana, and west.
John is also a cousin, who I hope does not believe in getting violent (as I
am getting too old for such actions, and am a coward at heart).
Take care. Regards, Dick
