Ok, here is what I found from the census. In 1860 JOSEPH and ALICE
TURNER were in Clermont County with some kids, under the age of 10. 1870
has them still there, more kids no JOSEPH. 1880 has them in PA, not OH.
1860 and 1870 he called himself JOSEPH and in 1880 he called himself
GARDINER TURNER, but the kids names are the same as is Alice, ages are
the same etc so it must be him. But it appears it is not the guy we are
looking for.....no Joseph, a child, that I can see.
