As far as I know your Lydia Smith is not related to my Smith group. To
the best of my knowledge my Smith group remained in Montgomery Co. PA
with Charles M. Smith b. 1816 PA moving to Clermont Co. Ohio by 1837
where he was a teacher. According to documentation I have found he was
the only surviving child of Nathaniel & Rachel (Coates) Smith. The
only relationship he may have with your Lydia is if they turn out to be
cousins - but with a surname like Smith who knows.
