This Samuel Lyons was living next door to Samuel Hook on 1860 Census. #915
Saltlick Twn, Perry, Ohio . Eva Lyons is listed as # 288 0n 1850 Census in
Saltlick Township, Perry County, Ohio -the mother of Thomas Harrison Lyons,
Samuel Lyons who was a Capt. in union army during civil war, and a son to
eva Apple(Lyons) . Elijah Lyons and Mary Baily (Lyons)listed as # 289
Saltlick Township Perry County, Ohio . Samuel Lyons Found on 1870 Census #
21 his Mother Eva Lyons age 77 from PA is listed as # 19 both in SaltLick
Township. I also have picture of A Samuel Lyons son of Samuel Lyons and
Margaret Hook it says on back of picture Samuel Lyons a cousin to Mary
Lyons and all of us, papas brother Samuel Lyons Boy. on 1870 Census Samuel
Lyons is alive,but on 1880 census #93 Margaret Lyons age 45 Widow - Father
born in ohio mother born in PA so Samuel Lyons Must have died before 1880
Last Child Born Abt 1874 so he (Samuel) must have died between 1874 and
1880.

Found in Perry County history on page 302-306 history of how Capt. Samuel
Lyons died in Dec of 1876 - died in fire, was drunk at time of fire,and
only one in the saloon. Family Bible of my Thomas Lyons confirms his
brother Samuel Lyons was a Capt. in Civil War.
