Thanks for the compliment,
Paul! Well, I like to try to help people, because I know it all comes
back everyone has an opinion too, so lets talk! Grin!
Everyone learns to adapt to where your at, either in life, or your environment,
but ya never forget your roots! I'm a OH girl at heart, always will
be! But am back periodically. And enjoy chatting to everyone!

I was born raised in East
Liverpool area, but am still learning my town streets, outlying areas
since getting into learning more about my home county/genealogy. I never
knew where some cemeteries were still are learning too! And in
Beaver county areas like Mill Creek Hill the other Mill creek
cemetery. I never until that moment knew there was two either! I
just figure it's a BIG TREASURE HUNT this genealogy biz! And besides I'm a
librarian at heart too, which helps!

I have learned
that Salineville is, I think, south of East Liverpool, but have never to my
knowledge been there, but wouldn't be surprised if I had been just not
been told. I used to travel to Richmond, OH with my dad, of course I
didn't know the roads back then!

I've
been around some blocks of searching, but haven't gotten allot of places as
yet? I haven't really been to the courthouse much, yet, but plan to
someday, perhaps my next trip! But been concentrating on the Carnegie :LIbrary
Tri-State because I have a dear friend, Betty Cain, that I have had since
I went to a meeting in 1985, couldn't have met a more dedicated person,
loyal to the place, taught me continues to be my mentor
teacher, keep in touch to this day by email mostly! Ya know stay
with what your used to usually pays off! So if I show my home
county, my knowledge, then others will follow suit as they
say!

Peace to you all, Cathy Raber

Hi Kathy. I just wanted to drop you a quick note to sy that I
read all of

your e-mails with great interest. You seem to be quite well
versed about

that part of Ohio. I grew up in a very small town just along the
Ohio/Pa

line in Beaver County called Cannelton, Pa.

I have been researching my Great, Great Grandfather Samuel
Campbell who

was living on a small farm outside Salineville, OH in the 1850 Census

Report. He has proven to be my "brick-wall", since
the "trail" seems to

end there.

I just wanted to say that I've driven all over that area, as a
young

fellow, then joined the Navy and ended up living in Florida myself for
about

27 years. Now my job has brought me back to Pa. (near
Harrisburg) and I get

over that way quite often again. I have several brothers and
sisters still

living in Columbiana County and I visit there often. I have been impressed

with your knowledge of that area and recentlysaw one of your e-mails that

stated you are mostly from Columbiana County OH and Beaver County,
PA. I

just couldn't help asking where you used to live and what years. I
graduated

from Northwestern High School in Darlington, Pa in 1969 and joined the Navy

in 1970.

Just curious about your expertise about the area.
V/R PaulC.
