Dear Arlene: I am showing 6 Webber and 2 Weber families in the 1915
Farmers' Directory for Columbiana County (no James). Of course this is
pretty late for your grgrandfather. If one or more of these are his
off-spring it might give you a clue as to which township(s) to look in.
Also, did Mary Jane marry? If so, what was her husband's name? If their
family is/was still in the area it would verify or give you other townships
to check.
The names I show are:
Webber: Amos, Frank, F. W., G. W., Walter, William
Weber: Amos & Rosalie, Jno.
Let me know if you want more about these Webbers. Cec Jones

My grgrandfather James Webber was born in East Liverpool circa 1834 and his
sister a year younger (Mary Jane) was also born in Columbiana co. Their
father was William Webber and mother Jane. Totally unable to pick up a
thread on this family in Columbiana co. Anyone have any ideas. It's been
like a brick wall. Thanks for reading & considering. Arlene
