I read your post on the McCoy's of Columbiana Co. I am trying to find someone
who has information on Robert Beckwith and Nancy McCoy who married in 1853 in
Columbiana Co., OH.
My ggtGrandfather, Robert Beckwith according to death records was born and
died in Salineville, Columbiana, Co. OH, 1812-1891. He married in 1848,
Elinor Jane Nile d/o of John and Jane (Starkey, d/o of Levi and Rebecca
(Merrick) Starkey) Nile. Elinor was bn around 1834 and died I believe
somewhere around 1814-23. I have never been able to find my Robert's parents.
But, I have noted that a Robert Beckwith married Nancy McCoy in 1853. And
also, that they died and are buried in Columbiana Co. As far as I know, they
had no children, as the Beckwith's that live in Columbiana Co were of Robert
and Elinor. If you know nothing of this Nancy McCoy Beckwith, I am hoping you
will keep your eyes open for me when you are ready to start your research of
the McCoy's of Columbiana Co., OH and keep me in mind.
I appreciate any help you will be able to give me.
