I=92m actually researching the family of Philipp Haessle / Haessly who was b=
. 1795 in the village of Haenner in Baden, Germany Philipp Haessly moved =
to America in 1817/1818 on the ship =84April=93 from Amsterdam to New Castle, =
Delaware, he first lived in Berks, PA and later in 1839 the family moved t=
o Columbiana Co., OH. Philipp was married in 1821 in Berks Co., PA to Ann=
a Maria Spohn, they had 7 children when they came to Columbiana Co. where =
6 more children were born.=20

Philipp and Anna Maria still lived there in 1880 at the time of the Federa=
l Census. Philipp died in 1890 at the age of 95.

Would appreciate any source info about this family in Columbiana Co. My ac=
tual knowledge is mostly taken from GedComs at Rootsweb contributed by oth=
er researchers. I=92m willing to share all what I have about his ancestry fr=
om Ortssippenbooks of Haenner and surrounding and thru own research.

Planning to write an article about this emigration from Baden and the biog=
raphy of Philipp Haessly=92s family after emigration (including the first ge=
neration born in America) for a local historical society in the County of =
Waldshut, Baden.
