Subject: early marriages question

I was thinking about sending a request to the
courthouse for a marriage that took place in November
of 1848. Would anyone know if I would get information
about the parents of the groom and/or bride?

A couple years back, I requested a copy from
Washington County 1850 and I got nothing but a copy of
a ledger page listing the marriage date, place &
participants. So, I thought I'd ask for advice this
time before I proceeded.
