For those who reside in the area or who may be visiting in the area:

The Licking County Genealogical Society will meet
Monday, Sept.12 at 7 p.m.; Newark Public Library,
101 W. Main St. (first floor meeting room);
The program will be "Elias Hughes - First Settler of
Licking County" presented by: Mr. Bob Tharp.
Bob has published "A History of Harrison Chapel
Church, 1844 - 1982" and 26 other articles for "The
Licking Lantern". Presentations are free and open
to the Public.
