Hugh C. FLEMING bought land in Coshocton Co., OH in 1825. He married Jane
Beckham, my 3G Aunt, in 1827. The family appears on the 1830, 1840 and 1850
federal censuses in Pike Twp. He died in 1855 but Jane lived on in Pike Twp.
with the children who were still at home. I'd love to know where the children
and their families settled...

Though most Ohio LEMERTs lived in nearby counties such as Muskingum and
Licking, several were residents of Coshocton Co. I'd welcome hearing from any
descendents. I am in a direct line from Lewis Sr. and Jr. through Leroy and his
wife Lucy Ellen Green. Their daughter Amanda Ellen was my Great Great
Grandmother, born in Licking Co. and died in Henry Co., OH.
