I am not the list administrator, however I do have some experience with
"Roll Calls" on other lists. It is important to put the names you are
researaching in the Subject heading so that people who search the archives
in the future can find your name and e-mail address. It is also important
to update your e-mail address with the surnames (or if you are lucky, you
can set up all mail to your old address to be forwarded to your new one!)

Example:

from: John Jones
Subject: Jones, Smith/Smythe
or

from: John Jones
subject: John Jones, 1757-1811 married to Amanda Smith/Smythe (1765-1799)
