Hi: In search of the following: Thompson Johnson, my gg
grandfather, b. 1-1-1821 in PA, migrated to Crawford Co. OH,
where he married Catherine Sarah Flowers 12-25-1844.
Catherine was born 12-29-1824 in Richmond, VA. Thompson
died 3-28-1884 and is buried at Beechler Cem. Newark Twp.,
Gratiot Co., MI, Catherine died 4-29-1844 and also at
Beechler Cem. Sometime after their marriage, they migrated
to Gratiot Co. MI, and settled around Sumner, MI. There
children were: Benjamin William (my g grandfather);
Anelette; John Edward; William Henry; Lydia Rose and Mary
Lucinda. I have hit that brick wall at Thompson, however it
is said that his fathers name was JAMES and his mothers name
was Catherine (no documentation on this part) Benjamin was
born 5-11-1848 in Seneca Co., OH; John Edward was born 1853
in Adrian, OH, so the family must have migrated to Sumner,
MI sometime after 1853.

Also am interested in DAVID JOHNSON, is said to be related
to Thompson, no proof of that, however, David was born in
PA, migrated to Ohio w/ Thompson, married in Ohio and
migrated to Sumner, MI w/ Thompson, both families buried at
Beechler Cem. MI. David Johnson was born 12-28-1822 in PA,
married in 1847, in Ohio, to Margaret Staggerwalt, born
6-2-1826 in Ohio. Children of this union were: Nathaniel
born 1848 in OH; Catherine; Lucy; Mary; Isabella; Emma R.;
Charles A.; Arminda.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone has any info
regards this post, have info on both familes, and will
