I have come across the name of Garberick/Garberich when doing research in Crawford Co. There was a farm in Polk Twp., Crawford Co., belonging to Isaac Garberick/Garberich in mid to late 1800's. He had children Benjamin Franklin, John, William, and several daughters. I know this isn't an answer to your question, but he might give you a lead in your search.
