Thanks for looking and for getting back to me so quickly.
Do you know who might have books for Hamilton County?
Most of my Morelands were in Springfield Township, Hamilton Co. from 1790 through 1850s.
There is one particulare individual, Traver Moreland, we are looking for who died in 1846 to our best knowledge. Many of his family were in Hamilton County at that time.
Also a couple of his sons could have/probably did die there, a Benjamin who was drowned at age 18 (probably born in 1831-1833)
and a John who set off on a selling trip to Cincinnati from Springfield Township area and never came home. He would have been born in the 1820s.
There was thought he could have been murdered.
That information could have been in a Cincinnati paper too.
My direct ancestor was Thomas Moreland who married a Sarah Ann Hoel who was born in Hamilton County, OH 1823/1825. Her father, William Hoel was born in Springfield Twp. in 1801. William married a Julia Ann May(s). We are also looking for the parents of Julia Ann May or Mays.
Julie
