Of course one of the problems with the Snyder name is there are also a ton
of Snider names. I did not attempt to look at those to see whether I could
find cemetery records to verify whether there is a match.
The data I provided earlier comes from one of 3 sources: if birth and death
dates are shown then I found them in one of the Volumes of Cemeteries of
Crawford County as published by the county genealogical society. If a
marriage date is included, that came from Marriages of Crawford County by
the same group. All census data came from the internet through usually
either AncestryPlus.com or Heritage.com. Occasionally I use Genealogy.com.
I do most of my research at the Ohio State Library in Columbus, where they
provide free internet access to at least half a dozen pay sites such as
those listed above. I also can then drive about 10 blocks to the Ohio
Historical Society library where they have different resources including
microfilm on most newspapers ever published in the state plus death
certificates on microfilm for 1909 thru 1945.
