I am from Sulphur Spgs, formerly Annapolis. The name was changed in 1890. I have a 1933 Sulphur Spgs Centennial Hist. On page 23 is this entry. "The first tavern was built in 1836. The second one was built by Cornelius Dorland and Robert McKee on the lot occupied by Fry's store." My father ran a general mdse store 1934-1966 on this same lot. I have deeds that take it back to McKee. Also the SS Hist 1933 shows Robert McKee's name as list as a Tavern Keeper.
