Is there a German evangelical Church near Parma that's been around since
the 1800's? Or is there an organization that has gathered records from
that type of church from that time period? I'm looking for some sort of
proof of birth for a Dean Hauserman born Parma, Ohio on March 15, 1898.
The county archives has no record of the birth or of the marriage and
divorce of his parents William G. Hauserman and Hortense Miller.
According to a book about the early families of Madison Co, Montana, Dean
was born in Parma. I'm told that the family was German Evangelical, then
Methodist. So I'm hoping there's a church out there that may have
Christening records, baptismal records, or some sort of marriage records
pertaining to this part of our families history. Any advice would be
appreciated.
