I am extremely happy with the FREE software program offered by the Mormons @
www.familysearch.org It is every bit as good as the paid for programs I've
used, plus! It has a spot for non specific notes, which is so convenient.
I can generate a list of "to do's" right from the program. I also keep a
list of things that I've requested from places like the county archives and
whether or not the record was found or available. That way I don't end up
asking for the same record over and over again.
