Bette,

You're very welcome, however, I don't have any idea about the
"Pool" unless each Lutheran Church used the ministers who were
part of a pool (excess resource) to fill in for a minister who
had not yet arrived in Cleveland to take a position after a
previous minister had vacated his current church for another area
(assignment).

Both Rev. Fisher and Kimmel were rather young so they might not
have been ready for a church of their own.

Just my guess - certainly not GOSPEL *S*

Nancy...Thank you for your help with this reference to the Rev.
KIMMEL.

Reading closely, the census (what census year, was it 1880?)
suggests that
the Rev. was possibly a *traveling* pastor as regards the mention
"pastor on
Ev. Pool Church." Does this make sense....and if so, how would
the actual
church be identified in 1885 where he is listed on the marriage
record
supplied by Cuyahoga County?

Bette
