Subject: [OHCUYAHO] Possible burial place of an East Cleveland resident....

I have been searching and searching for the final resting place of my
great-grandparents, William L. and Caroline Freese. They died 21 October
1942 and February 1939 respectively. His residence was in East Cleveland. I
am presuming that he is buried where his parents, John and Louise Freese, are
buried. So far I have checked records of Lakeview, Erie Street, Harvard
Grove, Monroe, Brookmere, Dennison, Woodland, Alger, West Park, Lakewood Park
and Riverside with no luck. John Freese was born in Germany. I don't know
anything about the East Cleveland Cemetery. Is there an office there? I
think I would be afraid to go there by myself. Does anyone have any more
ideas of where I could search? Thanks in advance....

Ceal

Hi,
I would suggest pursuing E. Cleveland Cemetery. It is listed as being a german cemetery. That is where some of my family members that came from Germany are buried. Honestly it isn't too bad of a place during the day. I finally went there a few weeks ago and I truly thought it would be muck worse than it was. East Cleveland City deparment hold the burial records for the cemetery (so i am told)
