My ggrandfather, Herman Franke, owned "The H. Franke Steel Range Co." at 1911
to 1921 Harvard Street. This from the city directory of 1892-93. A short
biography from Cleveland and Its Germans available at the WRHS also states
that he is owner of the Gasoline Oven Factory. I also would be interested in
further information on the stove businesses in Cleveland.
