Hi Ann ...
Concerning Jimmie CABORN ...
I have found him spelled as Jimmy
Here: http://www.funnypaperz.com/inations/toon1cc.html he is listed with
"Little Rodney" but nothing else.
At least it narrows it to 1937 if you have to order microfilm.
Wish it could have been more,
clemi

cartoons? Jimmie CABORN was the cartoonist. He moved his family to
Cleveland about 1938, and I believe he was already doing one or both of
these cartoons for the Cleveland Plain Dealer at that time. He was gone
during WW II, but I think he resumed one or both after the war. I
understand that the cartoons were carried elsewhere around the country,
also.

PLATT. I'd appreciate any further information on Jimmie CABORN and his
cartoons. All I really have is from an obituary 7 Feb 1955 from the
Fremont News Messenger. I'd really like to see some of them, so I think
I'll try to see if I can order in some film on Interlibrary Loan. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Ann
