I want to say THANK YOU to all the kind persons who helped me and wrote back to me concerning Brian Donlevy the actor.

It goes to show you that you can't aways believe what is written on the Internet!!! It pays off to ask questions and ask for help. The websites I had found listed Ireland as his birth.
I am so glad to be able to report back to the Irish gentelman that he was correct in his assumption, that Brian was born in Cleveland, OH.

By the way, for those that are interested in Brian Donlevy, here is a bit more info.

In 1916 he joined the US Army, under General Pershing and fought in Mexico (poncho Villa). He lied about his age to join up. (he was only 15 yrs old)

His first wife was Yvonne Grey m 1928-1936. This would be his wife listed in the 1930 census.
Second wife was Marjorie Lane, m. 1936, she was a professional singer, they had one daughter Judy.
They divorced 1947. His last wife was m. 1966, Lillian Lugosi, the widow of Bela Lugosi the horror movie actor (Dracula).
Brian Donlevy died at Motion Picture County Hospital in Woodland Hills, L.A. Co, CA 4-5-1972.
