In the book, "Euclid Beach Park Is Closed for the Season," (published in
Mentor, Ohio by Amusement Park Books, Inc.) the Tent campgrounds is mentioned and
pictured from an 1899 booklet.

Advertising for the season of 1899 boasted of: "New clean tents...." The
authors say that the tents were probably manufactured by Wagner Manufacturing
Company, later known as Wagner Awning Co., and that this was the part of the park
where the Humphreys stayed while they ran the popcorn concession at the Beach
during the late 1890s. Cottages at the campgrounds came around 1915.
