I have an Elisabeth Luthy born 1858 in Lauperswil, Bern, Switzerland. The
1920 census list her as immigrating 1874. She married Charles Augustus Sommers
during the early 1880's in Cleveland. They lived on E. 100th Street. My
question is--Did Elisabeth immigrate by herself or did she come with family. Any
help to answer this question would be greatly appreciated. Additional
information on her family to help is as follows.

Father--Johannes Luethi born Lauperswil, Bern, Switzerland, b. 1834.
Mother--Anna Gisel born Wilchingen, Schaffhausen, Switzerland, b.1830
Brother--Johann Willibald born Lauperswil, Bern, Switzerland, b. 1859
Sister--Anna born Lauperswil, Bern, Switzerland, b. 1863

Paternal Grandfather--Johannes Luethi born Lauperswill, Bern, Switzerland, b.
1808
Paternal Grandmother--Anna Barbara Riser born Sumiswald, Bern, Switzerland,
b. 1808
