German Bob, if you are still on line, Have a question about August Schauer
and Louise Buschow. They were my Great Grandparents and you sent me lots of
information on them some years ago. The question is, would it be possible that
they landed in NYC when they immigrated and that would have been sometime before
1920. I think it is possible that I found them in the 1920 census living in
NYC and Louise running a boarding house.It said that he immigrated from Germany
and her from Russia. He immigrated in 1876 and her in 1894 and he applied for
citizenship in 1886 or maybe that is when he received it. I am going to check
it out at the archives but wanted to ask if you knew anything about that. Take
