see it.

The Cleveland Public Library online Necrology listed no one by the name of
Abraham Wright. Rufus is on there, Lucy Wood Wright, Frederick, etc.
I could not find a will. Couldn't find marriage for Abraham - hopefully
mother of Thomas Wright. Found Abraham was not the Abraham Wright War of 1812, Prv.
un Capt. Samuel Dunnavan's Co - that Abraham was a pioneer 1802 of Newark and
then McKean, Licking County, Ohio who came w/wife and 4 children Only thing I
could find was 1829/31 Abraham Wright sells on easy terms a vessel "Grampus"
to John Malvin, a slave who gained his freedom by the death of his owner and
besides being an engine expert on the JHHudson's steam Mill, he needed extra
income to purhase his father-in-law's freedom. -from Ehle, Jay C. "Cleveland's
Harbor" (The Kent State Uni. Press, Kent, Ohio, London, England)9,10. and On 16
April 1836 Tavern Stand offered for sale. Applications were referred to A.
Wright, Rockport. ("Herald" April 16, 1836 Newspaper Annals, XIX,180 in
"Historic Sites of Cleveland: Hotels and Taverns V. 2 (Ohio Historical Records Survey
Project WPA, Columbus, Ohio, 1942)705. Thomas I'm quite certain died in NE but
no death certificate either state/county so can't find mother listed - He
lived with daughter and son-in-law, Theda Wright Hurd and Nelson Hurd. during
last years -1900 Pleasant Hill Twp. Webster County, NE census . I have Abraham
figured would be 1820 in Rufus home, married 1821/1822, had Thomas
1823,Abraham's wife would have passed away between 1823 and 1830 - Abraham & Thomas would
have been on 1830 and 1840 census. and beofre 1850 something would have
happened to Abraham..
Rufus other children:Laura - b. 1809 NY (Lame, never m)
Hester b 1810-1815 NY (Mrs. Hall) Home in Indiana m. 3 Feb. 1836 Horace Hall
Maria b. Dec. 1811, NY m. Chauncey Deming 3 Feb. 1836 - Chauncey b. 30 June
1805 Salisbury, Ct. d. 8 Feb. 1863 - Maria d. Rockport 24 Oct. ;1881 at 70
