Hi everyone-
I would greatly appreciate some assistance/opinion. I have quite a few
relatives buried in both St Mary's and Monroe Cemeteries (on either side of
I-90 near Ohio City). I have heard the neighborhoods are bad, not like they
were when my relatives were buried there decades ago. I plan to have my
boyfriend with me (no way would I go there by myself), but I wondered if
anyone could give me their opinion. I want to get some photos of the graves,
but don't want to risk my life to do it!!
Also, does anyone know if I can *call* to find out about grave locations
for St Mary's? I wrote to the Catholic Cemeteries Association (who wanted
$80 for the info) but I wondered if I could call and get a quick answer
since I'd be going tomorrow. I already have a map and would probably pick
two surnames (to ask) and hope others were nearby.
Thanks infinitly for your help!
Melanie
