Some records are at the Garst. The building is gone. My husbands grandfather Paul James Fake aka James Paul Motter was there.I have a newspaper clipping of where they were tearing it down.

I recently learned that my grandmother and her three
siblings were taken to the Children's Home in
Greenvile following the death of their mother in 1919
and later placed in foster care. Can anyone tell me if
this Children's Home is still in existence and if
records might be available?
