I am looking for further information on this family, which appears in the Ohio 1850 census living in Van Buren Twp., Darke Co., OH. The family includes:

Clement C. Alexander, 38, male, plasterer, born in DE
Eliza Jane Alexander, 40, female, born in PA
John H. Alexander, 11, male, born in OH
Theodore D. Alexander, 9, male, born in OH
William H. Alexander, 4, male, born in OH
Levicia A. Alexander, 2, female, born in OH
Elizabeth Tadford, 62, female, born in PA

By 1860, they were in Jordan Twp., Whiteside Co., IL, with one more child, Horace C., born abt 1853. There the trail seems to end.
