BOOKWALTER- Mrs. Rose Ann (Young) Bookwalter, 84, passed away Sunday, July 10, 1966, at Grey Gables Nursing Home in Greenville. She was born July 8, 1882, in Darke County near Versailles, Ohio, the daughter of Samuel F. and Rachel Ann Reish Young and sister to the late Elias S. and John C. Young. In 1903, she was united in marriage to Erva R. Bookwalter. They pioneered in the Success district of Saskatchewan, and for many years resided in Versailles Ohio. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Paul C. Yourex (Mabel) Yourex of Success and Mrs. Erwin W. (Esthermae) Baker of Summerville, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; one niece, Grace Hartle of Austin Texas and several nephews. Services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the Marker Funeral Home with Dr. Neal D. Newlin officiating. Burial was in Harris Creek Church of the Brethern Cemetary, Bradford, Ohio. She was predeceased by one son, Erva Jr., who died July 11, 1942, in the Phillipine Isl!
ands, in World War II. Mrs. Bookwalter, a Gold Star Mother, was a member of the United Church of Christ, Versailles, and the Model Sunday School Class.

VERSAILLES - Mrs. Rose Ann Bookwalter, 84 died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday night at the Grey Gables Nursing Home in Greenville. She was a native of Darke county.
Mrs. Bookwalter was a member of the United Church of Christ in Versailles and was a gold star Mother.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Yourex, Success, Saskatchewan, Canada, and Mrs. Esther Mae Baker, Summerville S.C.; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Marker Funeral Home with the Rev. Neal Newlin officiating. Burial will be in the Harris Creek Cemetery at Bradford. Friends may call at the funeral home at 7 p.m. tonight.
