Is there a method of finding out where a land claim is located from the
description on the certificate? I have a certificate for Benjamin F.
Hutchinson...right name, right place of origin, but I don't know if it's the
correct place in Ohio. The description is as follows:

"the North West Fractional Quarter of Section Five, in Township Five, North,
of Range Five, East, in the District of Lands subject to sale at Lima, Ohio
containing One hundred and Fifty five acres and Fifty two hundreths of an
acre."

I stayed true to the commas and the capitalization. If this places the land
grant around Defiance I'm in business. Thanks for your help or ideas...Vickie
